The room we had was a king room with adequate space and decent kitchenette facilities, which I appreciated as a guest who enjoys the convenience of preparing light meals. Upon entering, we were met with a strong musty smell that made it difficult to relax. It seemed to be an issue from prior flooding, which was quite disappointing. While there are dining options nearby, my culinary experience wasn't spectacular. I ventured to the RSL outback restaurant, which unfortunately didn't impress. The food was rather disappointing, specifically the pumpkin soup, which was cold and lacked flavor. I found the location convenient, being just a short stroll to several eateries and the bowling club. The motel also offers free parking, and breakfast was included, although I didn't partake. Despite a few hiccups, the cleanliness of the room and the owner's helpfulness in assisting me upon arrival were noted. Ultimately, there's potential here for a truly delightful stay.
